DDP(Disc Description Protocol) is known as a world-wide standard file format for identifying and describing the collections of data that will be recorded onto a CD disc to help manufacturers have a consistent and complete description of the input media for use in glass mastering of CD.

DDP TOOLS version 2.5 is a useful PC application to play-back, check, edit, CD-write, and export the DDP file and is useful for its compatibility between the "Mastering Studio (Record Company)", "CD Manufacturing Company", and " Clients for CD Mastering".
